The C. F. Koo Foundation is dedicated to promoting Peking Opera, aiming to make it more accessible to the public through a series of targeted programs. Members of the Taipei Li-Yuan Peking Opera Company serve as instructors, offering free lectures and performance demonstrations at educational institutions and community groups.

Peking Opera combines music, dance, martial arts, theater, costume design, makeup, and face painting. The Foundation’s programs, including "Introduction to Peking Opera," "Hands-On Demonstrations," and "Performance Viewing," are designed to deepen participants' knowledge progressively. These activities build a foundational understanding, allowing for direct appreciation and engagement with Peking Opera, ultimately fostering a lasting interest in live theater.
